"Well I can say the that the cover is fantastic. I had used a similar thing bought at a vendor in a shopping mall thinking that it was the same type of cover as the Brabantia. Upon this purchase I realized that there is a huge quality and functionality difference. The previous one actually burnt through. I don’t foresee it happening to this cover. I made my own ‘felt’ undercover using cotton curtaining for beneath qthe top cover. You will need a felt cover as the metal grid work will show through to your ironed item. The actual ironing on this surface is so much more smooth and easy. Seems hard to believe hey! Wonderfully happy."
